"The past reminds us of timeless human truths and allows for the perpetuation of cultural traditions that can be nourishing; it contains examples of mistakes to avoid, preserves the memory of alternatives ways of doing things, and is the basis for self-understanding....."

Glogster:
For this project, we made Glogsters. A Glogster is an interactive poster, which serves as a creative way to share information with students and parents. My Glogster details all of the events and happenings for the month of February, and includes information regarding extra help time, the Black History Month Assembly, a video of the students field trip to New York City, Tri-fold Board due dates, Parent Teacher Conference times, and Regents Review. This serves as a great communication tool, strengthening the relationship between teachers and parents.
History & Political Science Club Flyer:
For this assignment, we had to make a flyer for a school club. I chose to make mine for the History & Political Science Club because I am a History Education major and I am very passionate about the subject area. In the flyer, we had to include the name of the club, the time and date of the meeting, contact information, and a motivation/incentive for the students to attend. We made these fliers using Microsoft Word Templates.

Lions Fest Flyers:
Lions Fest is an event on campus during Freshman Orientation where new students to the college have the ability to sign up for clubs they are interested in. As the president of the History & Political Science Club, the Education Club, and Molloy's Ambassador Association, I created the flyers that were given out to interested freshman at Lions Fest. These flyers can be found above.
